Avalon is Northwestern’s audio and video collections repository. It allows anyone with a Northwestern NetID to easily search the University’s archive for images or videos.
Get Started
- Access Avalon: https://media.northwestern.edu/. Note: While most of the content is publically accessible, select items can only be viewed by signing in with your NetID and password.
- Access Avalon through Canvas: Use the Library Media link on the left navigation bar of the individual course. If you do not see the Library Media tab on the course’s left navigation bar, please go to Settings > Navigation, and then drag and drop Library Media into the top menu (its color will change from grey to black and it will appear in the course’s left navigation bar when you save and refresh the page).
